Q: What file formats can I use to submit my graphic assets?

A: Preferred file formats depend on the type of output you are requesting. If you’re not familiar with file types, stop reading here and contact one of our customer service reps for guidance.

For most of our commercial printing, we will want Vector files, high resolution PDF files (Highest Quality or Press Quality) with all images embedded, and text or fonts converted to outlines. When possible, .ai files and PDFs should be saved with layers and editing capabilities enabled. Because of the vast number of fonts and variations, it is very important to convert all fonts to outlines in InDesign or Illustrator before saving as a PDF.

For true photographic printing, we prefer flattened, RGB .tiff, .jpeg, and .psd, 8 bit, 300 DPI files. Other file formats may work with possible limitations.

Q: How do I send files in for production?

A: Please use one of the following file transfer methods: WeTransfer or Dropbox. You will need to know your recipients email address in order for your file to be processed at our facility.
